Fascia-Focused Concept of Core Training

The seemingly opposite qualities of dynamic and stability provide the body with optimal structural integrity in both stillness and motion. Said differently, when the body is dynamically stabilised, we stand and move with ease and energy efficiency.
We will start the webinar by examining the anatomical basis of multidimensional dynamic stability from a neuro-myo-fascial perspective. This sets the stage for an in-depth look at the 3-layer model of the central core and the essential fascial movement qualities for effective core stabilisation training. Since nuance is key, we will differentiate between ‘core stability’, ‘all-around stability’, and ‘creating the fascial conditions for multidimensional dynamic stability’ around the spine. Through select Slings Myofascial Training practices, you will embody the theory and experience the unique qualities of these three stability concepts first-hand.
All of this may sound rather technical; however, in practice, it is thoroughly enjoyable and infinitely rewarding! If structural integrity and a feeling of inner togetherness are meaningful to you, this fascia-focused concept of core training will provide you with anatomy-based, experience-proven insights and practical tools to benefit both your body and your skillset as a teacher.
During the webinar, Karin will be using massage balls and encourages participants to have their own to practice along. She recommends 2 air-filled massage balls about 10-12 cm in diameter – the balls should depress when squeezed. If you can find ones with nubs on them it is great, but that is tertiary…the most important is air filled about 10-12 cm and depresses when squeezed. (example here)

The webinar will be taught in English with live Japanese translation provided by Kaori Tani. Here is an example of how it will flow:
